Hannes is the author of Citizen Hariri: Lebanon's Neoliberal Reconstruction, along with a number of articles relating to the political economy of Lebanon and beyond. On this episode, Simon and Hannes talk about the process of researching and writing Citizen Hariri, the March 14 protests, and the ways in which political economy sheds light on sectarian politics.
